A New Beginning
A bit of a personal post from me this time as I've recently been reflecting on this past year and the start of new beginnings. September has always been much more of a 'fresh start' for me than January considering it's the mark of a new academic year and the end of summer.
This year has been an odd one though, with taking a break from uni until Christmas, then going straight into my placement year at UCL which meant I moved to London! So with a new job, new home, and new friends it was a whirlwind of different experiences. Finally, when August began, I felt settled down and had a routine down, when all of a sudden it was over and time to start new again!
I'll be the first to admit that this year hasn't been the greatest; I didn't achieve as much as I wanted too, or do/explore as much as I thought I would. With that in mind I plan to make the next (my final year of uni!) the best one yet. But before then, I need to wrap up my internship and head off on an epic trip to Japan before the craziness of fourth year begins.
Next year, I want to live life to the fullest, get that first in my degree, reach 100k on Instagram (follow me here please!) and push myself so far out of my comfort zone that it ceases to exist.
Are you excited for the end of summer or sad it's ending?
